2008 RULE CHANGES

Age Rule: all participating racers will abide by the age rules of the track they are racing at. All racers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed and notarized and kept in the pit gate as well as a hold harmless agreement signed and notarized. NOTE: the current age limit for sport truck racing is 14 at WIR, 141, and DRP.

Roll Cage: It is strongly recommended that there be a minimum of 2” between the top of the driver’s head to the top of the roll cage.

Air Ducts: Air ducts in the tail section are allowed. They are restricted to 2 per side, 3” in diameter, to be placed in a location to resemble tail lights. They must be screened and painted. NOTE: all tail sections made during and after 2008 will have templates built in for air ducts.

Hubs: Rear hubs must be rigidly mounted to the axle, with out the ability to free wheel.

Engines: Any fan cooled OEM production snowmobile engine up to 508cc. All engine must start as a 508cc or less OEM motor. All engines must use OEM blocks, cylinders, heads, and OEM stroke of the engine.

Note: All engines are open to internal modification provided that all components start as production parts. No external performance enhancing modifications are allowed. The only external modifications allowed are for repair. Example: hard ware replacement, welding for repair of damaged parts, ect.

NEW BUSINESS

AWAY SERIES:

Ron Magdanz contacted Plover, Slinger, Madison, Wausau, 141, and DRP

Plover wants us for the WCS dates (May 26, and Aug 1), they also would let us run one more date. The dates they have open are May 16, June 13, and July 11.
The club agreed that May 16th would be the best day to have a third date at Plover

Slinger would like us on July 27th
A straw vote was taken on wether or not we go to Slinger this year.
11 want to go, 4 don’t want to go
The format for slinger would be the same as last year. 1 practice, 2 heats and a feature
